Accordia Training & Development is a dynamic company that develops and delivers powerful practical training programs for the growing business community. We explore a variety of learning methodologies from business simulations, game-based learning, storytelling, gamification, multimedia, mobile learning, business projects, field application and post training progress monitoring. The rich variety of tools coupled with meaningful facilitation skills, breaks the traditional training approach to motivate your team to embrace change and learn new skills to create your competitive edge.

OUR STORY

It started as a humble beginning in 2007 with Muhamad Zairulnizam Baharom and Jegatheeswaran Manoharan. Two individuals with different background, distinct personalities, unique management styles, contrasting behaviours, mismatch of likings, varying choices and dissimilar ideas. However, they both believed in one thing; "embracing diversity unlocks a goldmine of opportunity".

Starting from a 600 sqft office for two, they had one question in their mind "How can we change the landscape of corporate training?" That question became the Vision of Accordia; To Create Revolutionary Results in Human Capital Development. Starting off mainly conducting teambuilding programs, Accordia ventured into developing business simulations that are affordable for the mass market.

Today, Accordia is one of the few organizations that had turned traditional teambuilding into worthwhile team collaboration programs with measurable results. The largest teambuilding ever conducted was 1300 participants in a single setting. The use of business simulation also expanded from mere teambuilding into strategic planning sessions, leadership and other areas of organizational development.

We are constantly pushing our boundaries to explore new ideas and technologies to bring the best learning experience for the industry.

One of our proudest moments was when we won the Silver Award for the Best Teambuilding Provider at the HR Vendors of the Year 2019 in Kuala Lumpur. It was a recognition for the years of contribution towards team development through fun and engaging teambuilding activities.

JEGATHEESWARAN MANOHARAN CO-FOUNDER

Team effectiveness specialist, international speaker and a game & simulation developer. Board Member of the North American Simulation & Gaming Association (NASAGA) and the Past President of the Malaysian Association of Professional Speakers (MAPS).

Started off his career in sales of engineering products. His experience covered both end user sales and strategic sales involving tenders for multi-million dollar projects. He was later involved in the sales of training products before venturing as a trainer himself.

Jega is a Certified Neuro-Linguistics Programming (NLP) Practitioner, a Certified Practitioner of the 6 Disciplines of Breakthrough Learning and registered trainer with the Human Resource Development Fund of Malaysia.

MUHAMAD ZAIRULNIZAM BAHAROM CO-FOUNDER

Master Clinical Hypnotherapist, General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) UK. Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Massey University, New Zealand.

Formerly served as a mental trainer for the national athletes with Institut Sukan Negara (ISN). His efforts were instrumental in the gold medals achieved in international competitions such as the 2001 SEA Games, Junior and World Squash, Archery and Rugby meets.

Zairul is a Certified Hypnotherapist and a registered trainer with the Human Resource Development Fund of Malaysia.
